    I am trying to get the latest OS v4.5 and download it to my BB using a Macbook. May I use a Macbook to download the latest OS to my BB?

    No. This has been discussed many times. In the future, please do a search before posting. In order to do an upgrade on a mac, you would need Bootcamp/Parallels installed and then install Windows to that.
