I know that when RIM or BlackBerry or God shuts things down to do maintenance of various kinds (for all I know, it might be a Cosmic Battery Pull that they are doing), it means I can't get on the Internet from my BlackBerry Curve. I also know that they do these kinds of things very early on Sundays, so as to disrupt as few people as possible.
Fair enough; except that five days a week, Friday through Tuesday, I'm using the Internet on my BlackBerry Curve at 2:00 am Central Time. (Graveyard shift.) And when they turn off the Internet on Sunday mornings, I'm without it and going through withdrawal for about 4 hours.
Is there any way (yes, there is a question here) that I can get the RIM people or someone to send me a text alert BEFORE they shut down the Internet access?
