I have a handful of apps/links that are seemingly unremovable.

    Pocket Express
    Sprint Music Store
    Google Talk
    Sprint Software Store
    Yahoo Messenger
    MySpace

I have tried DM, Options, Service Books and Modules.

And when I seem to have them off my BB they come back upon a battery reboot.

Are these pushed to the BB automatically by Sprint so they can make $$ from these services?

    thanks

These are pushed to you device by your carrier, the best you can do is hide the icon. As long as the application is not installed, the icon is doing absolutely nothing...

on the contrary, the icon is cluttering up my apps view making it harder to find what I need when I need it. Very intrusive. Hiding them seems to do nothing but dim them.

In icon view, press Menu, select Add Folder. Name your new folder anything you want.

Move your unused icons into this folder.

Perfect solution. If I may, I'd like to add one more suggestion. Once you have
moved them, hide the whole folder.

That's exactly what i do. All unused icons that cannot be deleted are in a folder and hidden!

    Great suggestion!

Once you have hidden the unwanted icon and/or folder, hit menu-show all. This will uncheck show all and the dim hidden icons/folders will no longer be visible.

In your main screen with all of your icons, press the menu (berry) button and I believe you have "Show All" checked. Scroll down to it and un-check it.

Then, all of your hidden icons will no longer be visible, not just dimmed.
