    Hello all, I recently recieved an AT&T 8310 with no sym card the provider gave me the unlock code but I don't have an AT&T sym card. Is there any way to unlock without the sym card

    You do not need to have the SIM card in place to unlock the phone.

    Thanks I did get the phone unlocked. Now I'm wondering if I could get apps applied to the phone like fav 5 for example

    Im not sure you will be able to get MyFaves on an ATT phone. I have an 8310 as well on T-Mo...

    All other stuff is fair game. May I suggest Nav4All? Free GPS Navigation software with voice notifications...

    You can still have myfav without the interface on the phone. Login to my tmobile and you can manage your 5 from there
