How do I un-install a downloaded software application from my device? Is it as simple as going to tools-options-applications and then deleting them?

    thanks,

Hook the curve up to your computer, and use the desktop manager to remove it. (at least thats the only way I've found...)

You can do it both ways but some applications just wont go away. I cant get rid of YAK-ON and Berryvine messenger for some odd reason when you go into options/applications there is no option to delete on the menu??? When I hook the BB up to the PC those applications arent an option in the installer

It should go through Applications and Delete. However, you may need to restart the BB to make it disappear completely...

I know, it is old thread and I have BB8900, not 83xx, but I have the same problem. Impossible to uninstall BerryVine Messenger.
Now I use IM+ and everything is without problems.
