I'll be receiving my blackberry curve tomorrow. Being new to blackberry I had a lot of questions, been reading the 101 Lectures for a good part of the day. One question I had it was very hard finding the answer too. So I wanted to share it on the forum in case anyone else was as confused as I.

Can my tty compatible blackberry curve call someone with a tty phone and can that same person call me. In short yes. The instruction manual does not make that clear. Everywhere I saw on the forums people think it only for the hearing impaired and no use to a hearing person. I had to call a company that sells ttys to find out in the end.

My motherNlaw is hearing impaired and she can talk into the phone but can't really hear me when I reply. So it was a one way conversion. I think this is going to be a great feature and I'm grateful.
