I'm afraid you would be stuck using it like that. That is unless you're mechanically savvy and have the parts to fix it.

Using the Enter key does the same thing as clicking the trackball.

There's a little copper dome that is under the trackball, that is the part you would need. It should be round on top and I'm guessing it's not. Plus you would need the screwdriver to take your phone apart.

I'll look up the link where to find the piece you would need.

Ok, I guess there is no actual part you can buy but, there is a site you can send your phone to and they'll fix it for $59.99. This is the link to them: PDA Repair World - A full line of RIM BlackBerry repair services and BlackBerry parts for all BlackBerry handheld devices

Before you go that route, have you tried cleaning the trackball and underneath the trackball? You can use a q-tip lightly dipped in running alcohol. That could be your problem and a easy fix.

You would need to find one of these dome switches:

Metal domes, snap domes and tactile dome switches for membrane and momentary switches.

Maybe you could request one of their free sample packs.

skullgame, that would be "rubbing alcohol".
