Hi every one. I am having some major issues with my trackball. Its really weird!
It works but only scrolling left and right, and when I have either highlighted an application or message no amount of pressing the trackball down will take me any further!
Please help, I've almost thrown it across the room twice now!

The t/ball has some sort of grit underneath it .
Try putting a Q-Tip in some alcohol, squeeze out
as much as possible and rub it across your t/ball
to clean it.
as for only being able to go up and left. i seen that happen here with one of our test phones. a soft reset seemed to fixed that problem. i'ld still try graceless' idea to get the dirt out.
I removed the trackball unit completley and used a cotton bud with a little bit of white spirit (alcohol cleaner in the US I'd imagine) and cleaned the ball and the contact points very gently. Then left the trackball unit out all night for every thing to dry and hey presto!! One fully functioning trackball.....here comes another hit...........zzz oh yer
If you really need to, you can always pop out the trackball enclosure and clean it a little better!
