I put in a media card and when my 8310 re-started, the trackball no longer lights up. Any ideas on a fix to this problem? Putting the media card in and the lack of light on the track ball may be coincidence, but this is the first time this happened.

Pull your battery with the power still on. Wait 30 seconds, reinstall the battery. That should reset the phone.
