    I hate having to go through 2 or 3 windows on my handset to turn off my new voice mail reminder. Is there a way to fix it?

    Press the Green Phone button, then Menu / Options / Call Logging / None

    you cannot remove the SMS TEXT reminder for voicemail .. you can only turn it off for missed calls
