I got this plann yesterday with a blackberry curve 8330 i dont have a data plan but i have free facebook bbm and stuff but the signal area always seems be showing arrows which means sending and recieveing data.. am i being charged for that i do not use the internet at all
You should take your BB to a Telus kiosk and ask them if your device is configured properly. Your device has to use data to access Facebook and BBM (and email if you have that on your plan). If you ran any other application that uses data, then that will be charged as extra (for example; BBweather, or YouTube). Traffic to facebook, RIM's servers for BBM and email is free (or included) in your plan.
