I know that the 8320 will have Wi-Fi. Will it have any other features different from the current Curve? What, practically, is the 8320 going to do for me more than the 8310 (color of the unit, aside)? Thanks.

Only difference between the two is that the 8310 has gps, while the 8320 has wifi. So pick which ever feature you want more.

What is Wi-Fi going to give me practically? What is the real-world difference in having Wi-Fi and not having it?

For AT&T customers it gives them the ability to browse the internet over a high speed wifi connection instead of a slower connection like EDGE. For Tmobile customers, wifi can utilize UMA to make and receive calls through wifi, especially nice if you are in an area that has wifi but weak cell signal.
