for some reason I can not sync. My bb is and computer are finding each other.

When I open the BB desktop manager, at the bottom left hand corner where it say

Deviced Connected (PIN) None

I then click on None; the connection setting box opens I click detect and my BB is there. So my BB is being detected but its not.

Can someone please help.

Did you configure DM to use BT?

If not open DM and on the left click, options>connections choose BT and check enable BT and also check auto switch to USB when USB is connected.
Then click connect see if that works...

I have the same challenge. The BT connection options on the DM are greyed out. I'm guessing it shouldn't be. Any suggestions or thoughts as to how to fix this? Thanks!

I 've got the same problem (BB 8800, laptop HP NC6400). Other devices like Nokia, Ipaq use bluetooth but desktop manager not (checkout box is grey).
Help me.
