    I just upgraded to office 2007. Now when I read an email on my blackberry, it automatically marks the email in outlook as read. I dont like this.

    I've reviewed all my settings and cannot find anything different from my 03 outlook.

    On the flip side, if I read an email in outlook before my BB reconciles, the emails will not show up.

    I've decided to upgrade to the Bold instead of the iPhone. Currently using the Curve.

    I think you have to configure Outlook to leave the mail on the server.

    Tools...Account Settings...double-click on your account...click "More Settings..."
    Advanced tab...check the box next to "Leave a copy of messages on the server"

    Or change to IMAP instead of POP3 on your Outlook. If your BB is marking your messages "read', then you have IMAP.

    The question how is Outlook setup, POP3, IMAP, or Exchange?

    How is your BB setup, BIS or BES.
