Ever since I upgraded both of my 8320's to .81, I can not get the sync to work. I upgraded to DM 4.6 and changed the setting to Device Wins in conflicts but still getting "Connector Specific Error". What gives? Trying in XP and Vista machines with the same results.
I started having this issue when I upgraded to Vista... I messed with some settings tonight, and got my BB to sync properly now!
In the synchronization settings of Desktop Manager, click on Advanced... . Near the bottom is an option called Map Fields. It looked like the problem had to do with certain fields not being able to sync properly, mainly the contact photo. I was having contacts without a photo trying to add one, which is when the error message popped up. I disabled the fields that I didn't want, and it synced right away.
I wasn't really paying much attention to what I was doing, but can go back and play around with it if anybody has questions.
