I just switched from an 8830WE to the 8330 on VZ Wireless. For a quick second though I had a storm and updated my BIS to remove an Email. When I brought home the Curve and did the swap of the devices it put the email address on the phone. Is there a way to delete this icon or am I stuck just hiding it?
On another note, there was a shortcut to lock the phone by hitting alt + enter, since I am running 4.5 it doesn't seem to work anymore.
What icon are you talking about?
The email icon? Well if so I think the only way is to hide it.
And that alt (plus) enter shorcut doesn't work on 4.5
You can just press the mute key to put it on standy or set one of the convinience key to lock the phone.

Hey. I just remembered something.
Alt + enter does work but you have to switch a setting.
Go to Options - Language where it says input language. . Toggle it to "none"
Then you can use that but you have to be on the application window.
