My new curve arrives today (yay). I am moving from a Pearl with 4.2 to the 8310 with whatever version comes with it. I am on BIS. How do I best migrate to the new phone? Should I simply activate it and sync it to Outlook? If I use the SDW, will that move any emails I have on the phone over, and maybe my ringer settings as well? Do I activate the new unit first and then move everything? Will I still be able to read data from the Pearl once the SIM is in the curve?
Sorry for all the questions... trying to figure this all out for when it arrives later.
