i recently acquired an unlocked 8300 how do i get t-mobile software on it and is it possible to put the t-mobile 8320 software on it although its an 8300.t-mobile does not have a 8300

you can't put the 8320 software on it. os's are device model specific, but as long as it is unlocked it should be just fine

so what can i do? i would also like to find a messaging software that lets me do text messages like an instant message

You can put whatever carrier software on the 8300 as long as you delete the vendor.xml file before loading it. As mentioned you can't load 8320 software on an 8300.
