Stupid Question: How to send a picture to another persons phone
- I know this sounds like a stupid question bit I just can not ifgure out how to do this.
How do you send a picture that you just took from your BB to another persons phone? There seem to be a couple options once you take the picture....one is to email it which I do not want to do and the second is to send it to one of my contacts but when I select the contacts option, it says that my contact list is empty? This is what I need help with......what contact list is it refering to? How do I create this ocntact list? and does th elist have to be other BB owners or can any phone work?
Please help.

The only two options I have is to send as e-mail or send to messenger contact but he messenger contact list is empty and I do no tknow what messenger contact list they are referring to.
I have a BB 8330 from Sprint if that helps.

Should of went with verizon. Msg contacts in mine is the blackberry msg contacts I have (these r people only with bb's that u have added) mms would be your address book. Good luck and I hope there is a work around.

Basically you send an email with the picture as an attachment to the MDN. In this case the MDN is the mobile number of the person you are sending it to.
Example: If I wanted to send my friend a picture and her number was 317-555-1212 and she used Sprint as her provider, I would compose an email message with the picture as an attachment and address the email to [email protected]. You can also add the email address to the address book entry.
Sprint: [email protected]
Verizon: [email protected]
Cingular: [email protected]
US Cellular: [email protected]
T-Mobile: [email protected]
Nextel: [email protected]
Alltel: [email protected]
AT&T: [email protected]
Boost: [email protected]
Virgin: [email protected]
I hope this helps.10-15-08 08:04 PMLike 0 - To me its no more or less of a pain than to add someone to your address book initially. Then just email the picture to an address book entry. Works in much the same way as MMS does. I can send a pic in about 5 clicks.10-15-08 08:45 PMLike 0
- That defeats the whole purpose of MMS. BBM only works if the other user has a BB. Email to what? Their home,or office. The whole point of MMS is instant MOBILE multi-media messaging. This isn't new or difficult technology. Why are people making excuses for the lack there of?10-15-08 09:03 PMLike 0
- I have fought, tried sending thru BB and my Yahoo acct, couldnt get the signature deleted. Nothing works. I love my blackberry, but for pictures, my Palm beat the BB hands down.10-23-08 11:24 PMLike 0
