My curve 8310 (at&t) is on gsm instead of edge but my wifes pearl (at&t) is still on edge service. is there anything i can do short of contacting at&t?
Did you try pulling the battery out and rebooting it? Sometimes (rarely) when I lose 1XEVDO to just 1x that brings it back, unless EVDO service is down.
the phone is new and has worked flawless since day one. it just started happening today. my wifes pearl is right next to mine and is on edge. i just dont understand what could have happened.
it will not let me register for there is no service. tells me it will send when data coverage is available. anything else i can try. maybe reinstalling os?
I've had that problem where I wanna use the browser and then realize that its on gsm when I've been at work. I'm like okay I'll call t-mo rep to resolve this in a little while, when I'm about to call then I see edge on the screen. Its weird but it has happened to me once or twice now.
