I am noticing severe battery drain in the last few day. I have an icon on the top with a number 1 next to what looks like a globe or a small blue ball. I have had this unit for 6 months and it is happening to both my batteries. Does anyone know what that icon means and what app might have placed it there?

Or is something running in the background draining the battery?

that icon is a web notification...

open your browser and and see if it goes away...

Go to Messages, hit Menu> View Folder> Browser Messgages. You'll see it and be able to delete it there.

Chase that worked thank you. Can you give me any Idea why I am down to 80% battery in the last 2 hours. This drain started sometime last week. Bothh batteries are draining this fast?

That blue ball might be your Bluetooth icon, and the severe battery drain might be your phone trying to link to the device. Try to disable your Bluetooth function or turn your actual Bluetooth device off when not in use, because I found if I leave it in my car still on, my phone keeps searching for it after it goes out of range.
