I have noticed a lil faster battery drain on my berry, i use the neu theme, and usually dont have any background stuff runnin except voxofon. My question is does the battery drain faster if you use the mute standby button alot?? I use it alot, everytime i put the berry in my pocket.
Always use the mute/standby button, my battery lasts about 2 days with approximately 2 hours of talk, about 10 text messages, a lot of BBM and FaceBooking.
I barley make it through one day. I barley use it to talk, 98% of the time on BBM and browseing the other. For example today, i started my day at 9am its now 8pm and i have 35% left.
Putting your device in standby saves battery. Themes can be a drainer. Do you have GPS enables? Disable to help on battery as well as your OS can be a contributing factor.
Yeah If you turn on GPS on BBMaps and dont turn it off it will drain pretty fast. If you go into options and disable it there it will help too. For somereason it wil still drain if it is enabled even though you are not using it. What OS are you running?
Cool! Yeah i would make those GPS changes and make sure nothing is running in background beside what normally is supposed to run (browser, home, messages, etc) and test out your battery for a full day and see how it goes.
Edit: Also you can tweak your display setting like backlight and dim and such and that will help too, if you haven't already.
