    my phone is new and the mute button works but will not send the phone into standby i love the standby mode. not sure what to do.

    A battery pull with the BB on usually resets the Stanby/Mute button for most.

    Does anyone know why this happens? I got my phone a week ago and for the first couple days standby worked fine. Now I have to do a battery pull twice a day because standby stops working. Frustrating to say the least.
