    Does Sprint run updates on my phone at times? Sometimes data is downloading when I am doing nothing and have no apps running.

    No its not Sprint. You may have some apps installed that check for updates every now and then. Some examples:

    Google Sync
    Weather Apps
    Gmail

    You have unlimited data right....so it doesn't really matter!

    If you look at alt lglg it shows the event log, Blackberry Smart phones are continually connecting to the internet for various things
