I just bought a Sprint Curve 8330 on a popular auction website that shall remain nameless. The phone came brand new in the box. EXCEPT the housing says US Cellular instead of Sprint. I turned it on and it is a Sprint phone. I called Sprint and it is clear for activation, but it says US Cellular at the bottom.

My question is, where do I get a replacement piece that says Sprint on it? It is a just a little clip on piece at the bottom of the phone. On the red side it says the service provider and on the black side it says Qualcomm 3G CDMA.

    Anyone have any ideas?

They may have changed the housing out to a different color. double check that with the seller.

I just e-mailed cnn.cn and the seller. See what happens.

    cnn.cn said:

"We're still trying to locate the parts for the 8330, with no luck yet. When we do find something, I'll let you know."

Anyone have any other ideas? Would Blackberry or Sprint be worth contacting?
