    When i get calls the speaker buzzs in my ear like i have the volume up too high... its only about half way up .... tried and battery pull. didnt help. and i havent updated to a beta os it just decided to start doing it. Any suggestions?

    same issue here. no matter what the volume is set to, the voice is always has a slight distortion to it. like the signal is overloading.

    You said that are not using a beta OS, but are you running 4.5?

    Is this happening only when you first receive a call and only for a few second or is it through out the entire phone call?

    I've not experienced this issue with any of the OS versions I've used. What OS are you currently on?

    The whole time im on a call.... and the official us cellular release is 4.5.0.66. i downloaded 4.5.0.97 ... might try that.

    I know what you are referring to, this is a known issue with 4.5.0.77

    yeah im running .66 and its not the external speaker but the one you put to your ear.... and it lasts the whole call all the time.

    I'm an *****... i forgot i upgraded to .97... back to .66 ... that should remedy it. again sorry for being a nub.

    well crap.... that didnt work... any suggestions? And it doesnt do it if im playing music so i think the speaker is ok.

    I had this issue with my first vzw 8330 I took it into the store and they replaced it immediately. It also happened to my current one a couple months ago but it went away and has been fine ever since. Give it a couple smacks lol I think there may just be a piece loose in there or something.

    Although, my 2nd replacement is on its way to me because my headphone jack doesn't work anymore. These phones are starting to seem less and less reliable :-/

    I just took it back and got it replaced at the us cellular store... still within the month of buying it so its all good. Now everything sounds wonderful again. ive been known to drop my phones but NEVER have i ever had a problem after dropping a phone. wierd... thanx for the help people.
