Sorry, but another Wifi calling question...
- Did some looking around and have not been able to find anything that's specific to what i'm looking for.
I have a 8320 curve with t-mobile and do not have the h@h plan. I understand that when calling through wifi, it's deducted from my minutes because i don't have that plan.
My question is (are):
1) if i am out of the country and am connected to a wireless network and using it to call, will i be charged roaming?
2) if i use my phone to call an international number not in the US through wifi, will i be charged long distance charges?01-20-08 01:47 AMLike 0 - 1) If you purchaed the H@H plan and you go out of country and connect to a wifi spot with the WMA icon on your screen it will use H@H minutes, no roaming.
2) If you call an international number it will charge long distance on or off the H@H plan.01-21-08 10:09 AMLike 0 - That's correct. However, the H@H plan is not necessary in order to make calls over UMA. If you don't have the H@H plan then your calls will be deducted from your plan minutes. If you have H@H then your UMA minutes are unlimited.01-21-08 12:26 PMLike 0

with H@H we got all International call to US is free, correct (since we have unlimited over UMA)?
how about if we don't have H@H, using UMA making international call to US we only charged the minutes, correct? but not international roaming correct?01-21-08 01:43 PMLike 0 - If you are travelling internationally and you can get UMA then calls to US are unlimited with H@H plan or come out of your minute bucket without H@H.
If you make a call to somewhere NOT in the US then you will be charged for international toll.01-21-08 02:37 PMLike 0
