In the Opera Mini brower, under Setting. Network, then protocol it gives you these options. Why does it constantly change between the two, which is best and how do I get it to stop.
It seem to not connect when its on the Socket setting.
I have it set to HTTP and I have Alltel which uses CDMA 1XEV as does Sprint.
I also used the HTTP setting when I still had the 8330 Curve with Sprint and it worked great.
Changing it to "socket" will keep your berry connected to the servers that are sending the data to your phone. HTTP will require that your berry reconnect for each new webpage you want to download. Socket is much faster IMO.
