There's something wrong with my Curve 8320 and it's driving me nuts.

    IT RUNS LIKE A SNAIL.
I've deleted all my useless things and the memory card is barely used. I've tried multiple battery pulls but it still runs like a snail. It drives me nuts. Make me feel like I'm using a Storm. ]:

    Any advice?

And you deleted the stuff you don't need?

Do a battery pull (just take out battery while phones on) for 10 seconds and when it reboots, post the number then....

3rd party applications? Emails? Texts? Media loaded directly do device instead of media card?

Apps, e-mails, and texts can't be put on the SD card. Did you take any pictures with the phone before you got a SD card? 13mb free isn't terrible, but it probably could be higher.

Oh. Haha. Well I do have A LOT of texts...
And if I did take any pictures... there's probably only like 4.

For the curve that's pretty low, esp if any type of application clean up has already been done. I'm running at 48 to 50mb free daily.

Well each pic is about 500kb if I'm not mistaken, so even if it's only 4, that's 2mb. With only 64mb of memory on the phone, that's a pretty big chunk. There's a way to make sure all the pics are on the media card and not the phone, but I honestly don't remember what it is. I'm sure it's on the forums somewhere.

Try deleting all your texts, both inbox and outbox, then see where you stand with it.

Hmmm. Is there a way to archive the texts on my computer. I don't want to erase them all. I know, it's weird. Haha.

You can always forward them to your pc email address. Not the best way to do it I guess but it will work if you need them that bad. As for an app that does this, I am not aware of one - though one might exist....

Apparently it does - 13xx... it not good - You delete them or move them to the PC and you will be running fine. Good luck.

Why would ne1 need to save over 10k texts on their phone?

If you don't start deleting them, when your phone gets down to about 12XXXXXX file free, then your phone will start to delete things automatically for you.

Could have leaked memory while performing a big operation. Try doing a battery pull.

It sounds like you did not fix the issue at hand which are the texts. The 4 pictures you have on the device are not a problem. As DVDfan said soon they will be removed for you from your device.. Also yank the batt afterwards

Try doing another battery pull, then check file free again. But as stated earlier, you can't move texts to the media card, only pics, music, ringtones, and video.
