If I delete a sms message, text message, how long is it still avaiable for retrieval? I mean, does anyone really do this, audit text messages? And if they do, how long are they on some server?

I think once you delete them, they are gone for good!

Yep- once delelted theya re gone. If the sender has a copy they can forward it to you again

If you are on a BES, your BES admins may have logs of those messages. Or they may not. BES gives them the capability, but they won't consider it their job to provide a backup service for your text messages.

they last as long as you dont delete them, although there is a guy working on a program to save the msgs to your sd card.
