I'm new to blackberry and have a curve 8330 from Verizon wireless. I am wondering if I can send more than just 160 characters in a message. Some call it pages or long messaging but am looking for some guidance in how it is possible.

I have Verizon...and I must agree with the previous reply...sending them as MMS would allow you to send longer text. My son on the other hand uses the Dare phone and he just hits enter once it reaches 160 char & obtains an additional 160 char each time.

Update the OS to 4.5.0.xx, and it will correct this for most carriers, but I think you may still have issues on verizon.
