Trying to get some help on SMS continuous threads? I was moved to the BB apps but that is not what I am asking.

I have friends on verizon and they can type continuously for 6 SMS text messages and I cannot.

Any help here? Thanks so much

there is a limit of 160 characters on most devices on VZW. What type of phones do they have?

I have the Curve as well and it doesn't continue text; it is serviced by Sprint. One of my friends has a Storm on Verizon and they are not able to do that either. However my friend's Pearl on T-Mobile can text over the 160 character limit. I believe it has to do with the carrier.

Yes the carrier controls that from what I have read. Check into Beyond160, it works great and integrates with QuickText.

As stated previously, the carrier does control this, but it's strange that your friend's VZW Curve is able to do this. Do you know if they've somehow changed any hidden settings or anything?
