Hello all. Mine is a BB Curve 8310. Something weird happened today that hasn't happened in the last year and a half I've had the phone.

SMS messages between to and from a particular person have disappeared without my deleting them. I don't think it's a memory issue since SMS messages from earlier on the same day are still there as well as messages from over a week ago. If it was a memory issue, wouldn't all of the older messages have been deleted?

I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone else before or if any of you might have a theory as to why this happened. Seems a little Twilight Zone-esque to me.

What's your File Free? Options > Status and then read the third line.

If it is less than 12 000 000, you risk losing data.

Well it's at 0 bytes, so I guess that might be my problem.

Being at 0 causes random data to disappear with no rhyme or reason??

WOW! It's surprising that the device is able to perform any functions.

First do a battery pull with the device turned on.

Then check the File Free again.

Then read this.
