Anyone know what this battery is for? Mine fell off while trying to fix it, I have the phone booting up, but was wondering what does that battery do?

Haven't seen that but I'd imagine it is the battery that provides
enough low power to maintain your info in device memory while
the phone is powered off. Sort of like the coin cell that maintains
the BIOS info on your PC

RaginCajun87, did your phone work after that battery fell off? Mine did the same, but I haven't put it back together yet. Just wanted to see if it worked before I welded it back on.
    Thanks!

Btw, I found out that the little circular "battery" on the motherboard is a capacitor. And that it is used to store some power, but also "smooths" out the voltage between the different components on the motherboard. It will probably work without it, but it is better to have it on.
