I currently have a Curve 8310 from att. I have only had the phone a few months and times are getting tough. I am going to have to get rid of the BB package and data plan to save some money. I contacted my provider and they will let me swap plans, but I have to bring in another att phone to swap plans. My question, after they "activate" my old Razr, can I swap the SIM back to using the Curve? I know everything will not work, but at least I will have a full keyboard. They said they needed for me to bring in the Curve to "de-activate". What do they mean? Thanks

    Yes that will work.
Maybe you can get MediaNet unlimited on the razr, $10 I believe....then you'll have data on the BB minus BIS/push email. Opera Mini and most apps excluding some BB native apps (facebook, aim, etc..) work like a charm. You could add the data plan online as soon as they have the razr's imei in the system I believe.
