So I was camping and sprint has horrible coverage in mountains so I sould do nothing on my phone.
However VZW people were fine.

I switched from roaming to normal like 50 times.
Is there a way to make it sit on vZW? -_-

No. When you are roaming, you are potentially costing your carrier money, so your native tower will always claim you if it can. There's no setting in your phone to override this.

You have an m, so you are out of luck. People with the non m model have the option to use the 4.3 os which has the Roam Only option. However, like JeffH said, this makes the carriers unhappy.

Thanks for the info re 4.3. I never had that OS version and didn't know that capability once existed.

4.3 is still downloadable from the RIM servers. However, the 8330m came out with 4.5, so the OP is out of luck.

4.5 has so much more going for it (memory management, better/faster browser, voice recorder, video camera, support for larger sd cards, etc.).
