Ok here's the deal. On new years my blackberry got a little wet and the phone would not turn on the whole day. I dried it out and now it works fine. Everything except my service. My mobile connection goes in and out and I can only get somewhat service for a second in places where i get good service. But i cannot make phone calls because the service won't last for more than a second. Anyone know whats up?
You got it wet. BlackBerry devices and water are not a good combination.
Typically, that is the beginning of death for the device. Sometimes it's a slow death and sometimes it's a rapid death, but the end result is the same.
Once the corrosion has occurred, the damage it done.
some have openedup there devices and checked the circuit boards and cleaned any spots off with alcohol swaps... if you are not insured or covered in your 1st year give it a shot..
