Hello all! Is there any way to search the address book by number? For example if a number is 888-555-1234 and I start dialing the number 888-5, it shows that contact?

    Thanks

It won't show until you type in the entire number and hit send.

I know.. i'm just used to the MotoQ where if you started dialing a number it would list all the contacts that way. I don't like trying to spell if i am driving or the such. It's easier to just start dialing the number and select it from a list rather than type a name.

It doesn't do by number, but you can start typing the name and it will list the contacts.

You can use the Blackberry "search" function.
