Hey not sure where this will go under but it happened with my blackberry long time ago

I'm having trouble with my sd card its a 256mb I wa4 transferring pics to it when it said error than I look at my sd and it says I don't have one and it also says that on all other phones what can I do? I mean I have a 2gb in my phone now but I don't wanna buy another one if I can get this to work.

sound like the card is bad, It happens. Amazon is selling 8g cards for under 30 bucks!

try formating it with your pc?
