cool site... is there a way to customize each contact so they can have a custom ringtone AND separate message alert? or are both ring/alert getting the same ringtone? that make sense?

SMS alerts are not customizable, but you can add a custome ring tone for your contacts.

get the contact in your address book, menu, scroll down to add custom ringtone

Yes on the ringtone, no on the sms per contact. In address book, highlight contact, menu > edit > menu > add custom ringtone.

No, reread it. Set up a seperate profile for that contact. Then set an exception in profile so that it will always react that way when your contact calls/texts you.

got it... now... in profiles, I have the options of vibrate, loud, quiet, normal, off, and the new profile. only 1 can be active, what does that mean? If I made 10 new profiles and only 1 is active, which is specific for that 1 person, what happens when others call?
