I downloaded some ringtones from a third party site they are sent via text message I downloaded them and I cannot find them on the phone. Some I saved correctly and they appear in the ringtone menu, the others I tried to redownload and the file tells me already downloaded where would this file be?
Go to your media icon and open it up then push ur bb apps button (left of track ball) go to EXPLORE and then choose device memory or media card if u have one and then check the ringtone sections of both u can always move the ringtone into the proper folder or u might of down-loaded the wrong file format.

you can also load ringtones into your device via BB desktop mgr if you have some songs on your computer (in .mp3 format) you want to set as your ringtones - i find it's quicker this way
