My phone is working, but for some reason the trackball is not clicking and I cannot access anything on the phone. I plan on just getting a new phone, however, while my phone was turned on I recieved several sms text messages. Is there anyway I can access the text messages or can they be forwarded to a new phone? Or are they gone forever?

you can simply replace the trackball and click pad underneath it for like $11.

on somephones i think you can hit "m" to go to messages, then "n" for next.

The screen shortcuts only work if you have Home Screen Dialing = No. You can get to that menu without using the trackball by going to Phone Log (green phone button) > MenuKey > Options, but then I don't know how to select Home Screen Dialing = No without the trackball. If you can figure that out you might be able to use shortcuts and get to your messages. Use the "Enter" key to select a message, then n and p, etc. to move up and down.

Edit: I'm on wap so don't see your carrier - Verizon for one will replace the trackball assembly free.
