    Every now and again i receive an ugly Red Exclamation Point (!) beside an email i receive. Does anyone know what this means and how not to see it again?? Thanks!!

    That means that it is marked Important or Attention to that email. It means that the sender marked it that way.

    Yes, there is no way for you to stop it. The sender has marked it important or urgent. Sometimes spam emails come marked that way. If it is not important to you just delete it.

    Ah. You can do so on the BIS website. If I can I can find a link somewhere, if needed more help.

    Note for people viewing this thread: This is Alltel's BIS site. It will not work for you if you are on another carrier.
