Hi.
So i just bought a BB Curve from Verizon and uninstalled BB messenger b/c i didn't think I would use it. Well I want it back but am having problems re-installing it. I tried going to blackberry.com/messenger and installing it from there but it says the software isn't the proper version and I should use the Desktop Manager; but I tried using that and can't find the Messenger application on there. Where can I download the proper file or what else can I do?

Go here -

And download the OS that is currently on your BB, install the OS to your PC, run the App Loader in Desktop Manager, then make sure BB Messenger is check to install. Select Next, and follow prompts.

If you only uninstalled BBM through the DM, then it should still appear in the apploader and all you should have to do is put a check mark in the box and select finish.

you should just re install DM...

you might also need to reinstal the 4.2 os for your device
