Any know of a free program to back up JUST my Addressbook on my BB CURVE 8310?

I know that my carrier offers such product, costs only $1.99 per month, BUT I can't get the program to upload to my Curve. It has happened to occur after I upgraded to a v4.5 OS.

NOt sure about your carrier, but VZW $1.99 backup is not compatable with a BB. The best way is via Desktop Manager and Outlook.

I was looking for a 3rd party who has developed one. That way I can save it on a USB drive and keep my data separate. Or if there is a sight where I can store my Address Book on it...

You don't need a 3rd party app for this. If you have DM 4.5
open it, connect the BB, go to advanced. There will be a pane
on the left and right. The one on the right is what is on your
BB. Highlight Address Book in that pane.

In between the 2 panes there are 2 arrows, select the one
pointing to the left. Now Address will be in the pane on the left.

Select File (above left pane) select save as, rename the file if
you wish and note where it is saving to. Done.
Now you copy that output file (.ipd) anywhere you like

Also, I use this for editing the output file if needed

Sure the default location that the .ipd file saves to is the My Documents folder.
Check there first. If it isn't there try to do the backup again, but this time
do not rename the file. Might be a file extension issue.

If you still need additional help, post your issue and then send
me a PM, I'll get back over here

Are you using the ABC Amber Blackberry Editor? That's what I'd like to try and use, but don't know how. THanks!!! Will PIN you now!

Yes I use Amber Editor. All you have to do is go to file > Open IPD
File > from the popup box, select the .ipd file you saved.

From there you can make any edits you want. Once done save
the file and then copy it to your memory card if you wish.
