I want to make Quiet Mode quiet for everybody except my husband. So I went through the edit Profile, made every single setting "None" and "Mute" and then programmed my husband's cell # in as the Exception.

Problem:
When someone else calls and leaves a voicemail, the voicemail triggers a SMS ringtone.

This SMS ringtone happens for other stuff too and drives me absolutely crazy. I've deleted the profile, made an entirely new profile, and to no avail. I don't even know if it's an SMS event because I set ALL events to "None" and "Mute" and STILL it chimes whenever it wants. What on earth?!

Phone is an 8300.

I'm not positive but have you checked your level one settings in the Quiet Mode. I think VM's are level one messages.

Just out of curiosity have you been able to associate the ringtone with a definite source? Sms, Mms, etc. Browser alert, Alarm, event or task, update?
