For some reason, my BB sends me to the oldest text message in my phone at least 5x a day. At the moment, I have a new text message and I'm only able to see messages from December 1st unless I spend the next 15 mins scrolling through thousands of texts!!
If it's able to go to the bottom by itself, why can't I get back to the top from the menu bar or go to the newest SMS?? I don't have time for this and if it doesn't stop, I have to switch to a Palm (don't want to switch phone plans though).
In addition, maybe you could create a backup and save off those sms to your pc or media card and get them off your phone. You must be burning some serious memory with tons of text messages saved on there. If you keep your sms cleaned off, it will be easier to scroll through them also.
