Had a 8330 now a 8330m. If I run a restore my data should work through bb desktop right? Also I was on 5.0 and can I use bbsak to reload saved third party apps? Silly questions but never really changed devices before...

Yes, restore should work for both regular backup file and the 3rd party backup of apps.

The only time things don't work is if they are specific to the device model or screen size/resolution. So Curve themes wont restore on a Tour, etc.

The themes in the example above would be in the Applications list, but of course wouldn't show up in the Themes list in Options.

Thanks I sure miss 5.0 but am excited about the new bb…I am updating to .175 I hope it is stable..
