- Hey all,
I am looking to purchase a Blackberry and jump into the crackberry community. Although I am on Rogers (Canada) and want an 8320 which I doubt they will ever carry in Canada.
Thus this weekend I will be travelling to Buffalo or Niagara Falls to purchase one from T-Mobile since the dollar is good right now. However I am concerned about unlocking it for Rogers as I have read the unlock thread but there is so much random information there and it seems its all geared towards the 8300 and 8310. Is this unlock code a single code for all phones and do we know it publically?
Using WIFI instead of data plan to obviously save costs as Im not interested in paying over 30 per month for my phone, which I already pay for voice, so WIFI is a must. But in terms of email, does it follow the same idea as BIS, where every 15 minutes or so, it pushes your email to the device into the messages folder?
Thanks for all your help11-12-07 09:49 AMLike 0 - Landrigan, there is not a universal unlock code. It is specific to the IMEI number on your BB. Rogers will not unlock anymore, and you must purchase that service from a vendor.
Without a BB Data Plan from your carrier you will not have push email and many other features on the BB.11-12-07 11:00 AMLike 0
