My question is this.... what do I have to do to download music onto my Blackberry? Do I need a SD Memory card ? What do I need? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.... Oh yeah by the way.... I am a newbie with Blackberry's..... I'm still finding myself with it.
It would be wise to invest in a media cardyes, that way all your downloaded wallpapers, ringtones and songs would be stored on that, not the device memory, which will sooo weigh it down.
Yes you need an SD card. If you upgrade your OS to the newest one your 8320 will take an 8 gig card.
All I had to do was pull the battery, put the SD card in its slot, put the battery back in and the BB recognized the card. I didnt have to do any overt actions to format the card.
Then you plug into your computer and go into Mass Storage mode and just drag and drop your music onto your card.
It will take the B B a couple of minutes to recognize the music and then you are good.
